The two groupements de recherche (GDRs), NS-CPU (Nanosciences with near-field microscopy under ultra-high vacuum) and NEMO (New Molecular Electronics) jointly organise a two-half-days workshop . This workshop will focus on the interface of molecule on surface, relation between structure and surface properties, assembly of molecules (from molecules to self-assembled layer), surface chemistry and the transport properties of the organic system.
May 19-20 2025 in Paris Université Paris Cité
Scanning probe microscopies/spectroscopies and related techniques can provide information at the atomic level that are complementary to mesoscopic scale measurements. Theoretical approaches can bring also a new insight into the understanding of hybrid interface properties. The objective is to foster brainstorming and future collaborations at the interface between the two communities.

Themes covered by the workshop :
- Structure and electronic properties of hybrid interfaces (molecular electronic)
- Assembly of molecules (from molecules to self-assembled layer
- Surface chemistry
- Electronic transport in organic system
